HFWCNY funding for Safe Kids continuation  I am excited to share that the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York has decided to continue to fund the project coordinator’s role in our Safe Kids Coalition for an additional two years. Sydney has developed strong relationships with the coalition and community members and has helped expand many programs, such as the Safe Summer Bike Helmet Program, Child Passenger Safety, and Cribs for Kids Safe Sleep Training. We are grateful that the HFWCNY sees the value in this program and has agreed to continue funding. I look forward to see what comes next with this program. These funds will support our programs that allow us to continue improving the health and wellness of our rural community!
