Southern Tier Health Care System (STHCS) has partnered with Healthy Community Alliance, Universal Primary Care and the New York State Office of Rural Health to provide free health-insurance enrollment services to residents of the Allegany, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties. This partnership is supported by the NY State of Health Marketplace which was created in response to the Affordable Care Act.
Individuals, families and small businesses can explore their health insurance options, find out if they are eligible for tax credits and other financial assistance and enroll in a health plan that best fits their needs. A navigator can answer questions, identify required documentation, and assist with completing all components of the on-line application.
