STHCS, in collaboration with CASA-Trinity, Allegany Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse (ACASA), Clarity Wellness Community, Seneca Health, and Cattaraugus County Department of Community Services, is strengthening access to healthcare services in Cattaraugus and Allegany counties in New York. This initiative, initially focused on substance use disorder and related behavioral health services, has since expanded to capture all types of healthcare such as, primary care and specialty visits.
The coalition has assessed the broadband accessibility issues in Western New York and established 6 locations within the two counties, called telehealth rooms. The telehealth rooms are optimal for telehealth sessions: lighting, camera quality, and the device screen are top-notch. No waiting in a waiting room and services can be contactless. |
