Honoring National Rural Health Day and National Injury Prevention Day
In celebration of National Rural Health Day on November 16, we acknowledge our vital role as a Rural Health Network, dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of our rural community. For over 29 years, STHCS has been committed to making a meaningful impact in our communities, collaborating with healthcare providers, State Offices of Rural Health, and other stakeholders.
As we reflect on this commitment, let's also turn our attention to National Injury Prevention Day on November 18. The Injury Free Coalition for Kids and its partners are devoted to reducing injuries and violence, which are the leading causes of hospitalization for individuals aged 1 to 44. Our Safe Kids Coalition has distributed green wristbands within the community, and our STHCS office has been "shining a green light" to raise awareness.
Together, let's make a difference by supporting initiatives that promote health, safety, and well-being in our community.
