Vital Signs Conference This weekend Alicia and I are attending the New York State Department of Health Bureau of EMS and Trauma System’s Vital Signs Conference in Saratoga. We will be at the EMS for Children table in the vendor hall. We will be promoting the Prehospital Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator (PECC) program and working to recruit new agencies to designate a PECC. If you are attending the conference this weekend, be sure to stop by and say hi! Wear Green November 18th to support National Injury Prevention Day! On Thursday, November 18, 2021, STHCS team members along with the Injury Free Coalition for Kids and the country's leading injury and violence prevention organizations will join forces for the 2nd annual "National Injury Prevention Day," a day designed to raise awareness about the burden of injury, violence and a need for change. Injuries are the leading cause of death and disability to U.S. children from 1 to 18 years old. Every day, 20 children die from preventable injuries, resulting in more deaths than all other diseases combined. In fact, injury is the leading cause of death for people through 44 years of age. We ask that you encourage your team member to wear green on November 18th to raise awareness. Update Link Comments are closed.
