Strengthening Peer Support in EMSYesterday, Jordan and I had a productive meeting with Mike Prutsman, Sean Smith, and Mindy Vail from CASA-Trinity. We discussed the vital integration of substance use peer support into EMS overdose patient sign-off calls. Our goal is to establish a smooth transition for individuals receiving treatment for overdose, ensuring they seamlessly access peer support and necessary resources when they're ready. This collaboration with CASA-Trinity marks an exciting step forward in enhancing our support systems. I'm eager to continue working closely with CASA-Trinity on this initiative.
