Nurse’s Week This past week was Nurse’s Week! We recognized the many nurses we work with, including our Sexual Assault Forensic Examiners! I want to thank all nurses for their dedication to serving our community. Your dedication does not go unnoticed. Additionally, we look forward to celebrating EMS week this coming week – May 15-21, 2022. There will be many events to celebrate these providers, and I am looking forward to seeing many of them. National Women’s Health Week This week was also National Women’s Health Week. During National Women’s Health Week, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office on Women’s Health (OWH) encourages women and girls to reflect on their individual health needs and take steps to improve their overall health. It is an excellent time for all women and girls to focus on better health, especially those with underlying health conditions, such as hypertension, diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular and respiratory conditions, and women 65 years and older. National Women’s Health Week is also an excellent time for family, friends, and the greater community to take action to support women and help them achieve the best health possible.
