Annual MeetingOn Tuesday, we held this year's annual meeting of the Southern Tier Health Care System Board of Directors, which was conducted virtually. During the session, I presented a detailed report on the accomplishments of STHCS in 2023 and outlined upcoming projects. My sincere appreciation goes to each board member for their dedicated attendance and active engagement, even amidst their demanding schedules. FEMA’s Assistance to Firefighters Grants Program (AFG) Starting at 8:00 AM, Monday, January 29, 2024, the application period for FEMA's Assistance to Firefighters Grants Program will be open. The AFG's primary mission is to provide fire departments and non-affiliated emergency medical service organizations with the necessary resources to respond to emergencies. Since 2001, the AFG program has been instrumental in providing firefighters and first responders with equipment, protective gear, emergency vehicles, training and more.
