HFWCNY Site Visit

Roxanne Cuebas, Program Manager for the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York, was able to come to Olean for a site visit for our Safe Kids Southern Tier New York Program. While here, I provided Roxanne with a tour of our office and the STHCS training center. Sydney also took Roxanne to a community event she had planned at the Olean Family YMCA on bike and helmet safety. I would like to thank Roxanne for visiting so that she could see the Safe Kids program in action. ​

BATMAN Blood Drives 

This past Wednesday, we partnered with Senator George Borrello to sponsor, as he called it, a BATMAN blood drive. Senator Borrello has supported our drives over the past several years and frequently stops to donate blood. We are happy that the Senator can show how vital community blood donation is and that it can directly benefit your friends and neighbors. We will continue to host bi-monthly blood drives on the first and third Wednesday of each month.  ​
