Cuba Memorial Hospital Sexual Assault Services
I want to thank Tina Edmister, Urgent Care Center RN Supervisor at Cuba Memorial Hospital, and her team for meeting with me this week regarding sexual assault services at an urgent care. There have been several changes made to the protocols over the past year, and they wanted to ensure they understood those if a patient was to arrive at their urgent care in need of care. I discussed how our SAFE program, including advocacy services provided by Connecting Communities in Action (CCA), can assist their ability and ways to collaborate in the future.
We look forward to working with Cuba Memorial more in the future.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie, Niagara and the Southern Tier
This week, I met with Ally Costanza, the Development & Community Relations Coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie, Niagara, and the Southern Tier. We spoke on their programming and the work they are doing to expand throughout the Southern Tier.
