Assisting Individuals in Crisis

​This week, we were fortunate to host a training session supported by the CARES UP funding initiative, which was secured by Trans Am Ambulance Services. The training spanned two days and focused on the "Assisting Individuals in Crisis" course provided by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF). Bonnie Frazer led the sessions, where participants from Trans Am Ambulance Services, the City of Olean Police, and the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Department came together to learn. We were pleased to partner with Trans Am to bring this valuable training to our community, using the training space here at STHCS.

Board Meeting Highlights: Fiscal Audit Presentation 

On Tuesday, we gathered for our quarterly Board of Directors meeting, where Ed Bysiek, CPA, presented the findings from our 2023 external fiscal audit. His assessment painted a positive picture of our financial operations, highlighting our strong internal controls and overall financial position. Ed's deep understanding of our organization's goals, coupled with his clear explanation of financial details, always impresses me. I want to extend my gratitude to Ed and Colleen Ross, our dedicated Bookkeeper, for their hard work. Additionally, I want to commend our committed Board members for their ongoing support and contributions, which are crucial in advancing our mission to enhance healthcare services in the rural communities we serve. ​
