Working Together to Address Gaps in Adolescent Care

Thank you to Olean General Hospital for bringing partners together to discuss the challenges of getting adolescents home after they have been cleared in the emergency department. Families and providers are facing some difficult situations with limited options. This discussion helped identify gaps in services that we need to take a closer look at as we move forward with our planning.

Helping Local Businesses Stay Prepared

We heard from a local business this week looking

to get their employees scheduled for Heartsaver

training before their certifications expire.

Heartsaver includes CPR, AED use and first aid.

It’s good to see businesses planning ahead and

making this a priority for their staff. These are

skills that can be needed anywhere.
