Our new ambulance simulator in our state-of-the-art training center at 150 N. Union St. here in Olean will help save lives. It'll offer some of the most realistic training scenarios available for our EMS providers across Allegany, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties. Here's a nice feature in Tuesday's Olean Times Herald.
Greetings Everyone,
We have experienced an overwhelming response to the recently advertised CLI class coming up in October. I can not thank everyone enough for this exciting opportunity to provide you all with this education. As such it has caused us to have to limit the amount of registrations that we can accept. The class will be held to a limit of 30 for the class at this time. If you where thinking of registering I would do it sooner then later. I want to add that regardless of the class filling or not, everyone interested should register. It is possible that someone can back out, or depending on the amount of registrants we may hold a second class in the near future. If you register pass the limit then you will be notified that you are on the waiting list and we will back fill anyone that drops out on a first come, first serve basis from that list. Please ensure your spot by signing up now, and again we look forward to working with you. Any questions please call Robert at 585-345-6110 or email rmccartin@lakeplains.org. Thank you again. It's finished! Check out our new Walter L. Reisner Memorial Ambulance Simulator here at our new location, 150 North Union Street. It'll give our EMT trainees the most realistic experience possible so they'll know exactly what to do when lives are on the line. The next closest simulators are in Rochester and Binghamton. Needless to say, we're happy to have built one here at home! Thanks to Ruth Reisner for generously donating in her husband's name, Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation, Mercy Flight, Starflight and other community donors who made this possible.
