$185K Grant for STHCS Roof ReplacementI am thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a grant from New York State Governor Kathy Hochul's office through the DASNY Nonprofit Infrastructure Capital Investment Program (NICIP). The $185,730 grant will enable us to replace the roof at our headquarters in Olean. We are grateful for this funding, part of a larger initiative that has awarded over $40 million in capital grants to over 130 nonprofit organizations across New York State. Successful Start for 2024 EMT-B AcademyThe 2024 Southern Tier EMT-B Academy is off to a fantastic start with 10 enthusiastic students. This academy-style course offers a fast-paced curriculum, allowing students to complete the program in a shortened time period. Our dedicated program assistants, Brookelinn and Ellie, have been working diligently to coordinate the academy, and the students are thoroughly enjoying their experience so far!
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our instructors and preceptor sites. Without their support, this type of program would not be possible. Fourth of July
Annual SkillsI’m excited to share some great news! All EMS agencies in Allegany, Cattaraugus, and Chautauqua Counties have successfully met the annual skills requirements by the June 30 deadline. A big thank you to all the agencies for working with us to get all the necessary paperwork in on time and for their dedication to providing top-notch prehospital care in our community. Great job, everyone!
