CEO Update: October 4, 2024

FAN Funding for Ride Health

We would like to sincerely thank the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York for encouraging collaboration among FAN members. Southern Tier Health Care System recently received funding from the Foundation’s Fellows Action Network (FAN) mini-grant program. With this support, we will partner with FAN members Brett Lawton of Universal Primary Care and Mike Prutsman of CASA-Trinity to expand our Ride Health program, which provides reliable, non-emergency medical transportation through local transportation providers.

YMCA Outreach Career Fair

This week, STHCS staff members Jordan, KC, and Jolene attended the Olean YMCA's Outreach Career Fair, where twenty local school districts were represented. It was a great opportunity to share the many career opportunities in healthcare and promote our upcoming Step into Healthcare Career Academy. We’re excited for the next cohort, which starts on October 21st.
