CEO Update: November 1, 2024

FeedMore WNY Groundbreaking 

Congratulations to Tara Ellis, President & CEO of FeedMore WNY, and my fellow Cohort 5 member from the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York’s Health Leadership Fellows program, for leading this transformative project. The work her team is doing continues to inspire me! 
Last Friday, I attended the groundbreaking ceremony for FeedMore WNY’s new campus in Hamburg. This 197,700-square-foot facility will allow FeedMore to expand food programs, improve services, and centralize operations on a 74-acre site. It was also great to have Congressman Nick Langworthy join in support of this vital initiative. 
As a proud board member of FeedMore, I’m thrilled to see this exciting project come to life! 

Step Into Healthcare Career Academy Launches Fourth Cohort 

Our fourth cohort of the Step Into Healthcare Career Academy is officially underway! We're excited to welcome 10 students from local school districts, all eager to explore the wide range of opportunities in healthcare. 
The academy runs until December 11, and we are grateful for Jordan’s excellent coordination, with valuable support from KC. We look forward to watching these students discover their passion for healthcare and take the first steps toward meaningful careers in the field!
