Jones Memorial – Silver Recognition 

Jones Memorial Hospital has received the American Heart Association’s Silver Recognition for the Get With The Guidelines® – Coronary Artery Disease Rural Recognition. This award acknowledges the hospital's commitment to providing timely, research-based care to patients experiencing ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), a particularly severe and dangerous type of heart attack. 

I would like to recognize the hard work of everyone at Jones Memorial, with special mention of STHCS board member Sandra Watkins, VP of Patient Care Services/Chief Nursing Officer. This achievement reflects the dedication of the Jones Memorial staff to the Allegany County community. ​

Reminder: Office Closure for Labor Day 

Our office will be closed on Monday in observance of Labor Day. I hope you all have the chance to relax and spend quality time with your loved ones this weekend, especially as we prepare for the new school year. It's hard to believe my youngest son, Jacksen, is starting his senior year next week
