CEO Update: August 23, 2024

Advances in Acute Ischemic Stroke Treatment 

This week, we hosted an insightful continuing medical education (CME) seminar on stroke management, led by Dr. Kenneth Snyder, Vice President for Physician Quality at Kaleida Health and Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at the University at Buffalo. This event was made possible through the coordination and support of Dr. Henri Lamothe, Chief Medical Officer at Olean General Hospital. 
We extend our sincere thanks to both Dr. Snyder and Dr. Lamothe for their dedication and expertise. Their collaboration provided invaluable knowledge to our local EMS community. 
We look forward to continuing our partnership with Dr. Snyder and welcoming him back for future CME events! ​

​Expanding Our Capacity 

​I'm excited to share that we have begun the process of designing plans to build out the basement with the help of Tammy Hilmey, the architect we’ve successfully collaborated with in the past. Our current training space is frequently in use, leading us to turn away not only training sessions, but also community groups and events. This expansion will allow us to create additional areas for training, meetings, and other events, enabling us to better serve our community and partner
